A simple sword skill demonstration might have ended tragically for Holograf guitarist Romeo Dediu on Sunday evening. Dediu got a head injury, live during "Danut SRL" TV show on TVR, a show anchored by Holograf frontman Dan Bittman. "I was shocked, it's really unpleasant that something like this happened," the guitarist's wife said, according to Realitatea TV.

Dediu was asked by Bittman to take part in a stunt which required him to stand still, with a pineapple on his head, while one of the guests was supposed to slice the fruit with a sword. Unfortunately, the third blow missed by a few millimeters and injured the guitarist's head, causing panic on set.
"This last one kinda hurt," Romeo said after being hit, while trying to remain calm. Although it was obvious he was in a lot of pain.
During the show, Dediu was taken to TVR's medical office and then sent to the hospital. After taking an X-ray, his injury was sawn up. Meanwhile, Bittman remained on set and managed to finish his show.
"I talked to Romeo and he's doing well. His injury was immediately bandaged by the TV doctor and then he got to the Emergency Hospital for other tests. He did not have to be hospitalized. The skull was not fractured, it was only a deeper scratch," Bittman told tabloid Cancan.
"He's fine, fortunately it was only a superficial cut, which needed a few stitches, but it's nothing serious that could have any consequences. We were invited to Danutz SRL, it's a normal thing, given that our colleague is running that show. And at a certain point, in a martial arts demonstration, we were invited to join, not knowing what would follow. We were sure it was a joke, a game, we didn't think some professionals would actually use people from the audience. They did their job, but not very well. All in all, he didn't even notice he got hurt. It was an unfortunate accident," Holograf bassist Iulian Vrabete told Mediafax.
