World figure skating 'tsar' Evgeni Plushenko decided to have his Olympic retaliation and prove to the entire world that he continues to be the best skater, officially announcing his intention to take part in the Turin World Figure Skating Championship. Immediately after, Plushenko will come to Romania, for the show Kings on Ice - Olympic Tour 2010 scheduled on April 11 in Bucharest, according to organizers Amphitrion.
Plushenko recently announced that he would attend this year's Figure Skating World Championship edition, which will take place on March 20-29 in Turn. For the contest, Plushenko said he prepared a truly special act, "which will definitely leave even the most skeptical admirers of this sport absolutely breathless."
"Plushenko is the best skater in the world. This month, at the Turin World Championship, we will all see that Evgeni was the one who deserved winning the Olympic title. Until then, we continue training," the skater's coach, Aleksey Mishin, said.
"Plushenko has an impeccable exercise and is the only one who can do, without hesitations, combinations that others have not even tried, such as the quad toe triple toe or triple axle jumps," triple world champion Elvis Stojko added.
Plushenko will arrive to Bucharest together with 15 of the world's greatest skaters, such as: Stephane Lambiel, Aliona Savchenko - Robin Szolkowi, Meryl Davis - Charlie White and Tatiana Volosozhar - Stanislav Morozov.
Edvin Marton will accompany on his violin part of this extraordinary show on ice: Kings On Ice: Olympic Tour 2010, organized by Amphitrion.
The show will be held on April 11, at Mihai Flamaropol skating rink, and tickets are available online, on www.myticket.ro and in Diverta stores, for the following prices: 120, 180, 250, 350 and 400 lei.

“Tarul” patinajului mondial, Evgeni Plushenko, a decis sa-si ia revansa olimpica si sa demonstreze intregii lumi ca este in continuare cel mai bun patinator al momentului, anuntandu-si oficial participarea la Campionatul Mondial de Patinaj Artistic de la Torino! Imediat dupa acesta, Evgeni Plushenko va sosi in Romania pentru spectacolul Kings on Ice – Olympic Tour 2010 care va avea loc pe 11 aprilie la Bucuresti, informeaza Amphitrion, organizatorul evenimentului.
Plushenko a anuntat recent ca va participa la editia de anul acesta a Campionatului Mondial de patinaj artistic care va avea loc in perioada 20-29 martie la Torino, pregatind pentru acest an un numar cu totul deosebit, „ce cu siguranta ii va lasa fara suflare si pe cei mai sceptici dintre amatorii acestui sport”, dupa cum insusi Plushenko declara.
“Plushenko este cel mai bun patinator din lume. Luna aceasta, la Campionatul Mondial de la Torino o sa ne convingem cu totii ca Evgeni merita titlul olimpic. Pana atunci, continuam insa cu antrenamentul.” a declarat Alexei Misin, antrenorul patinatorului.
„Plushenko are un exercitiu impecabil si este singurul care poate executa fara ezitari combinatii pe care altii nici nu le-au incercat, precum quad toe triple toe sau sariturile cu triplu ax”, a adaugat Elvis Stojko, triplu campion mondial.
Evgeni Plushenko va sosi si la Bucuresti alaturi de 15 dintre cei mai mari patinatori mondiali ai momentului, printre care se numara: Stephane Lambiel, Aliona Savchenko - Robin Szolkowi, Meryl Davis - Charlie White si Tatiana Volosozhar - Stanislav Morozov.
